Social events

Club meetings are held every month, generally alternating between formal club meetings and social ones. Formal club meetings are typically held on the second Monday of every second month starting at 7:30pm, while social meetings vary. Details of upcoming meetings will be posted on the front page of the website. Everyone is welcome to come along, a current membership is not required. No club meeting is held in January, and meetings will still go ahead if they happen to fall on a public holiday. Committee meetings are held prior to formal club meetings, and the Annual General Meeting is held in conjunction with the December Club Meeting. Go Kart Nights Get ready to unleash your inner racer! Our go kart nights are a fast-paced, adrenaline-pumping experience that’s perfect for both novice drivers and seasoned pros. It’s a great way to practice your racing lines, improve your lap times, and enjoy some friendly competition with fellow club members. Social Drive Days There’s nothing like hitting the open road with a group of friends. Our social drive days are designed for just that – a relaxed, enjoyable day out where we explore some of the best scenic routes in and around Canberra. Whether it’s a short afternoon drive or a longer road trip, these outings are a fantastic way to bond with fellow members and take in the beautiful surroundings. Luncheons and Meetings We value the social aspect of our club just as much as the motorsport. Our luncheons and meetings provide a casual atmosphere where members can catch up, share stories, and discuss all things motoring. It’s also a great opportunity for new members to get to know the community and feel welcomed. Working Bees Our working bees are all about coming together to give back to our club and community. Whether it’s maintaining club facilities, setting up for events, or lending a hand wherever needed, these gatherings foster a strong sense of camaraderie and teamwork among our members. Special Events and Activities In addition to our regular events, we also organise a variety of special activities throughout the year. These can include anything from guest speaker nights and technical workshops to fun family days and holiday celebrations. We’re always looking for new ways to engage our members and provide opportunities for everyone to get involved.
