We proudly hold regular khanacross events under the auspices of Motorsport Australia. These exciting and engaging events are held at our own grounds within the Canberra Greyhound Club
What is Khanacross?
Khanacross is a thrilling and fun type of motorsport, perfect for anyone looking to test their driving skills in a controlled environment. Here’s a closer look at what makes it so exciting:

Technical Courses: Participants from the age of 12 drive through a series of technical courses that are marked out with "gates", which are made of plastic conduit to reduce risk of damage to your car. Each course helps you to develop precision driving, quick thinking, and a solid understanding of vehicle handling. If you knock over a marker or go the wrong you will get a time penalty so it's worth making sure you know where you are going. Insert example of a more basic map

Individual Runs: It's just you and your vehicle against the clock. This makes for a great way to hone your skills and experience when a car looses traction (handbrake turns anyone?) without the pressure of wheel-to-wheel racing.

Juniors Welcome: For younger drivers, we offer the opportunity to have an assistant with them in the car. This helps them gain confidence and improve their driving abilities in a safe and supportive environment.

Variety of Tracks: We have three different small tracks at our grounds, each offering unique challenges and opportunities to test different driving techniques. At the end of the day we will typically then combine these courses for a bit of a longer challenge!

Scoring and Awards: The goal is to navigate the course as quickly and cleanly as possible, with penalties for hitting markers or missing gates. At the end of each event, scores are tallied, and top performers are recognised.

Inclusive and Community-Focused: Our events are not just about competition; they’re about bringing people together who share a love of motorsport. Spectators are always welcome, making it a fun outing for the whole family.

2025 ACT Khanacross Series
We are excited to bring the 2025 ACT Khanacross Series back for another year. Contested over 8 rounds, Competitor’s 5 best event results and points will count . All results and points earned will count towards the Series if five 5 or fewer rounds are conducted.
